Beth Gallo

Hi, my name is Beth Gallo. I am elated to be joining this team! I am a proud mom to a sweet, rambunctious, and loving 8-year-old boy. My family is everything to me. When I am not in the classroom, you can find me building sand castles on the beach or spending quality time with my husband and family by the pool.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and am a Florida-certified teacher. I also hold a Florida reading endorsement through the UF Lastinger Center of Learning, and I bring 15 years of teaching experience. Over the years, I have worked with children with diverse abilities and backgrounds, fostering their academic growth and building their confidence through individualized instruction.

Additionally, I have completed over 60 hours of Orton-Gillingham training through the Institute of Multisensory Education (IMSE), including OG+ and OG+ Morphology courses. This training has given me powerful tools to support students in decoding, spelling, and vocabulary development. I am currently completing the Reed Charitable Foundation's (RCF) Writing Training, which equips educators with essential tools to effectively teach writing—starting with sentence-level skills, building strong paragraph structure, and culminating in five-paragraph essays. Taking this course ensures that every child I teach gains the ability to communicate clearly and powerfully through writing.

I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of tailored instruction, particularly in helping students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. I am excited to bring my passion, training, and experience to this new role and look forward to collaborating with all of you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
