Lindsay brings 23 years of primary classroom teaching experience and a deep passion for helping young children become confident readers.

Lindsay has completed IDA-accredited IMSE Orton-Gillingham training and a year-long IMSE Orton-Gillingham practicum.

My name is Lindsay Neuber, and after my husband retired from the Space Force, I recently moved back to Melbourne. I’ve spent the past 23 years teaching in primary classrooms across Texas, Wyoming, Florida, Colorado, Hawaii, and even Germany. Throughout my career, I’ve discovered that my true passion is teaching young children how to read.

I earned my master’s degree in Reading in 2010, and in 2016 I completed IMSE training in Orton-Gillingham methods—a moment that completely transformed the way I approached literacy instruction. During the 2024–2025 school year, I completed a year-long IMSE Orton-Gillingham practicum, further strengthening my commitment to explicit, systematic reading instruction.

This year, I’ve stepped away from the traditional classroom to focus on full-time tutoring. My goal is to support students who are struggling and give them the structured, targeted instruction they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me relaxing by the pool, traveling, or working on home projects.
