Hi, my name is Lori, and I am so excited to be joining the RightMinds Tutoring team! I have been an educator for 20 years, with 10 years of teaching experience in NYC public schools and the past 10 years in Florida. I am originally from New York and moved here in 2015 to embrace the Florida sun. I also have two beautiful daughters who have both struggled with learning at different times and in various ways.

I am passionate about education and excited to help other children who have struggled with their learning. I can also relate to the feeling of wanting to help your child but not knowing how—and that is why I joined the RightMinds Tutoring team.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in both education and psychology, and I also have a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am certified in both general and exceptional student education, with reading and ESOL endorsements. I have also completed 30 hours of Orton-Gillingham training and have seen firsthand the great benefits that multisensory learning can bring to the classroom.

Above all, I am passionate about fostering positive relationships with my students and creating a safe, supportive environment where they can learn and thrive. Watching students make progress and reach their fullest potential is truly what warms my heart.
