Noemi Ramirez

Hello, my name is Noemi, and I am thrilled to join RightMinds Tutoring and become part of your child's learning journey. I have worked in the field of Education for 19 years, primarily as a school psychologist, where I support students' academic and social development. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and a School Psychology endorsement credential from California State University, San Bernardino.

Over the years, I developed a particular interest in students who struggle with reading. I have witnessed firsthand how profoundly reading difficulties can impact a child's confidence, academic achievement, and overall well-being. This sparked a personal and professional commitment to become part of the solution. I obtained the Florida Reading Endorsement and pursued specialized training in structured literacy. Currently, I am certified as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner and have tutored students with dyslexia and other reading struggles for the past eight years, utilizing the science of reading and a highly structured Orton-Gillingham approach. I am passionate about helping students grow into independent readers, opening the doors of lifelong learning.

When I am not tutoring or working in the schools, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, exploring new places through travel, or on my yoga mat, finding balance and peace.
